Recently we travelled by the Rajdhani Express to Bangalore from Hyderabad. Our experience overall was 'HORRIBLE'. The reasons are: Food was horrendous in taste and way too spicy and very oily. The Paneer was stale. Fortunately, we did carry our food as well cooked by our in-house cook and that saved our health.
There was Presence of dogs, which was allowed by railways in the first AC compartment, with them barking especially in the wee hours (middle of the night), disturbing our sleep. Why are dogs allowed? Trains are meant for humans to travel and not for animals, despite they are being in another coupe, yet, it is a big put off. The Used blankets were refused by the staff to be changed. There was an Unbearable stench in the train throughout.Airconditioning was way too cold and did not allow us to sleep properly.
Staff was seen washing the cutlery in the washbasin where passengers usually wash their hands. Staff was asking for good feedback and tips despite the horrible experience. To say the least we spend our hard money to travel by a premium train only to receive such severely bad, pathetic, crass experience. We have advised all our friends, relatives and professional colleagues to not travel by such pathetic trains and to carry homecooked food if they need to travel just in case.
We came back by Vande Bharat express on 16th of July where while the snacks were okay, food was oily and highly spicy and we had to eat what we had taken away from our Hotel. Please make improvements.
